Rasgolla (or Rasgulla) is a famous syrupy sweet made from chenna (cottage cheese) balls cooked in light sugar syrup. Though its origin is widely associated with Bengal and Odisha, today it is beloved across the subcontinent, including Bangladesh where it is a highlight of sweet shops and celebrations.
