Description
Dhania Whole, known as আস্ত ধনে in Bangladesh, refers to the unground, whole seeds of the coriander plant. Native to a wide geographical area from Southern Europe to Southwest Asia, these light brown, ridged seeds possess a delicate, citrusy, and slightly sweet aroma. Whole coriander seeds are a staple in South Asian, Middle Eastern, and Mexican cuisines, commonly used in tempering (tadka), dry roasting for spice blends, and as a component in pickles. When lightly toasted and crushed, they release their full aromatic potential, adding a fresh and warm flavor to your culinary preparations.
