Description
White Pepper Powder, known as সাদা গোলমরিচ গুঁড়া in Bangladesh, is a finely ground spice derived from black peppercorns that have had their outer dark skin removed before grinding. This process gives it a milder, less complex flavor than black pepper, with a more earthy and pungent note, and a less visible appearance in light-colored dishes. Originating from the same plant as black pepper (native to the Malabar Coast of India), white pepper powder is preferred in white sauces, creamy soups, mashed potatoes, and delicate stir-fries where its flavor is desired without the dark specks. It provides a subtle heat and a clean peppery finish to your culinary creations.
