Alphonso mango pulp, made from the celebrated Alphonso variety, is a smooth, golden purée known for its rich sweetness and tropical aroma. Grown primarily in the Ratnagiri region of India, the Alphonso mango (Mangifera indica) is considered one of the most premium mangoes due to its non-fibrous texture and intense flavor. The pulp is often used to make mango lassi, mousse, ice cream, and festive desserts like aamras. Though not native to Bangladesh, Alphonso mango pulp is widely consumed there as well, particularly during summer, for its vibrant, honeyed taste and naturally velvety consistency.
